A single-day event dedicated to electronic music is returning to Southport this year and promises to be bigger than ever before.
Fans of dance, trance and house music in Southport won’t want to miss an upcoming outdoor experience headed for the suburb this spring. The 2026 edition of the popular Overtone Festival is presented by Bizarro and will see the event expand with an extra stage so revellers can appreciate even more artists and DJs.

Dance music devotees can enjoy an afternoon and evening highlighting both Australian and international acts. Those confirmed to perform include DJ Barry Can’t Swim, Mall Grab, Interplanetary Criminal, 6 Sense, Shimmy, Richie Hawtin, Bella Claxton, Avalon Emerson, Tori Pepper and Ben Ufo, among many others.
The Overtone Festival will now run in Musgrave Park on Friday, October 2. The electronic music event will kick off at 3 pm and end at 11 pm. The outdoor venue can be found 20 at Musgrave Avenue in Southport.
Tickets are available at a range of prices from $174.90 to $234.90. Those coming down on the day can expect an authentic rave experience with a curated programme that combines creative stage design with premier sound set in a lush open-air location.
