Southport is welcoming back an annual three-day event renowned for its funfair rides and family-oriented entertainment.
This year will see Southport host the Gold Coast Show. Arriving in the suburb in winter, the outdoor spectacle offers fun for all ages over a long weekend and combines both rural and urban events.
Promoters for family festivities often collaborate with dedicated flyer printing services that can design and produce colourful ads that engage the public and entice them to participate.
Promising a carnival atmosphere, the show unites the community with competitions and is loaded with displays and live demonstrations. Side Show Alley is returning for 2026 with some of the largest rides in one location ever organised including the “Show Train” and kids’ favourite, the “Bertie Beetle bag”.
There will be fireworks displays on the first two nights of the show from 5.45 pm and the “Live and Loud” stage will present a long list of artists led by headline act, Lily Grace.
Other features include strength and skills contests, equestrian show jumping, animal encounters, camel rides and an abundance of food and drink including the famous Dagwood Dog and Potato Tornadoes.
The Gold Coast Show 2026 will run in Broadwater Parklands from Friday, August 28 to Sunday, August 30. The event offers free admission to all who wish to attend and the parklands can be found at Marine Parade in Southport.
