A much-loved local live music venue in Southport is opening its doors to a hardcore band all the way from New York City this autumn.
Southport residents with a thirst for American music will be well served this year. New York hardcore outfit Murphy’s Law are headed for the suburb for an autumn gig as part of their debut tour of Australia and New Zealand. Southport will be one of seven stops in the band’s calendar and will give fans a chance to witness one of their infectiously energetic live performances.
Venues that host concerts and other live events often enlist the aid of experienced flyer printing services that can craft attention-grabbing ads that encourage people to purchase tickets.
With a reputation for being quick witted and cheeky, the band were founded in New York’s underbelly when the NYHC (New York Hard Core) scene was just emerging. The group is fronted by vocalist Jimmy Drescher, who is the only original member. Fans coming to the show will get to hear classics from the crew that may include tracks like “California Pipeline”, “Vicky Crown” and “Cavity Creeps”, among others.
Murphy's Law will now perform a live set at Vinnies Dive Bar on Friday, May 22. The nightspot is located at 44A Nerang Street in Southport and the gig kicks off at 7 pm.
