Southport to hear noise rock

An Australian post-punk act will be sharing their new sound in Southport at a single night show this summer.

Southport music fans can attend an upcoming gig joint presented by Select Music and Poison City Records. Summertime will see Narrm three-piece CLAMM play live in the coastal suburb as part of an Australian tour to support their new album called “And in Glue”.

The latest record involves the band pushing the boundaries of the post-punk they play and entering new territory where noise rock dissonance meets industrial abrasion. Bands and their record labels sometimes connect with professional Graphic Design Services that can set artwork and copy for LP covers and sleeve notes that matches their music style.

Those coming to the summertime show will get to hear tracks from the band’s new recording plus fans favourites like “And I Try” and “Bit Much”. CLAMM consists of Stella Rennex, Miles Harding and Jack Summers and the trio renowned for their visceral live shows fuelled by a physical wall of guitar, bass, drums and noise.

CLAMM will perform a live set at Vinnies Dive Bar on Friday, December 4. The gig will kick off at 7 pm and the venue is based at 44A Nerang Street in Southport. General admission for the show is priced at $29.60 per person, and tickets are available to buy for those aged 18 and over.
