Southport to welcome music festival

A popular music festival will make its Gold Coast debut in Southport in February 2026.

The Laneway Festival, which began in 2004 in a speakeasy on Melbourne’s Caledonian Lane, has gained ground across Australia and New Zealand and has become renowned for its focus on community, discovery, and showcasing local and international artists.

The Southport debut will offer a new backdrop and new connections in a region known for its love for live music.

The setting provides seamless stage transitions and effortless transport connections for those attending.

The Laneway Festival will feature Chappel Roan as the headline act, with Benee, Oklou, Blusher and Mid Drift among the supporting lineup.

There will be various food vendors on site, serving up a variety of treats for all to enjoy. Attendees are asked to bring valid photo ID, an empty water bottle, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen, and a credit or debit card, as the event is cashless.

Graphic design is an effective way to take festival advertising to the next level. Exciting and engaging graphics are perfect for attracting interest and encouraging attendance from locals and visitors alike.
