A venue in Southport is set to soon host a live event celebrating two iconic music acts from the UK.
The event will take the form of a special tribute night dedicated to British legends David Bowie and Queen. Entitled “Killer Queen & the David Bowie Show”, the evening event will see two of Australia’s leading international tribute artists unite on stage. John Blunt will perform as Freddie Mercury, while Wayne Vitale will portray David Bowie.
From clubs and bars to stadiums and arenas, venues of all size putting on live music shows like this often use flyer printing services to create colourful leaflets to advertise events.
Fans of Mercury and Queen will get a chance to see and hear classic tracks performed live like “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “I Want to Break Free”, “We Will Rock You” and “A Kind of Magic”. Those with a hankering for some Bowie tracks will also be well-served with songs such as “Golden Years”, “The Man Who Sold the World”, “Changes” and “Rock ‘n’ Roll Suicide”.
Killer Queen & the David Bowie Show will take place at CBD Live at Level 1/36 Scarborough Street in Southport on Saturday, December 11. The tribute night will kick off at 8 pm, and tickets are available priced at $40 for members and $50 for those without a membership.
