Southport to hear Christmas music

An event full of festive singing and activities for all ages will take place in Southport during the run up to Christmas.

Southport citizens looking to celebrate the season this summer can get together with others in the suburb later this year. A two-day event called “Southport Community Christmas Carols” is returning to the city and is encouraging all in the area to come along and enjoy the music.

Promoters of local Christmas events from carol services to festive food fairs often order hand-to-hand adverts from flyer printing services to get word out among the community.

Full of family fun, the festivities will offer attendees free outdoor activities and refreshments. For children, there will be a jumping castle, crafts and face painting, and for those looking to make memories, a special photobooth. Seasonal snacks will also be on hand with snow cones and a sausage sizzle available on both days.

Designed to keep concertgoers comfortable at summer temperatures, the carols will be performed live on stage inside an air-conditioned auditorium.

The Southport Community Christmas Carols event is now taking place on Sunday, 21 and Monday, 22 December. The concert venue can be found at 1 Griffith Way in Southport, and the events runs from 4 pm to 7 pm on both days.

The upcoming event is free of charge for all to attend.
