A show designed to let audiences feel like they are watching a live concert in Las Vegas will take place in a Southport venue this summer.
Southport music fans wondering what a live show in Las Vegas offers will soon get their chance. December will see the suburb’s SOPO venue host an event called “Vegas in Concert”.
Promoters of touring shows often work with respected Print shops offering design services that create Posters featuring the acts on stage. The upcoming show in Southport is three hours long and boasts six different performers, backed by a band of world-class musicians.
Each performer impersonates a recording artist renowned for playing live in Las Vegas to bring audiences an authentic taste of one of Nevada’s celebrated shows.
Greg Andrew will appear as Sir Elton John, while Jack Gatto will storm the stage as the “King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley”. Vito Grillo will perform as Neil Diamond, while Anthony Mara will impersonate Billy Joel. The last two acts include Anita Spring appearing as Olivia Newton John and Jay Weston performing as Roy Orbison. The show will also feature comedian Joe White as compere.
