Southport to celebrate Mexico
A taste of Mexico is arriving in Southport this winter with a special street festival.
Residents of Southport seeking a party are in luck this July. A wintertime event called the “Street Fiesta” will celebrate the rich traditions of Mexico in a fun day designed for all the family to appreciate.
The event is presented by Casamigos Tequila and Don Julio and offers free entry to all. Organisers of cultural events sometimes work with specialist poster printing services to create attractive signage in national colours like the green, white and red of Mexico.
Those coming down to the event can enjoy live music throughout the day creating an authentic Mexican atmosphere for the festivities. Starting at 1pm on acts performing on stage will include the energetic Mad Mariachi band and crowd pleasers The Latin Collective bringing Mexican rhythms to the event.
Families are welcome at the occasion. There will be fun activities for younger festivalgoers and talented street performers to applaud. Foodies looking to sample some genuine Mexican cuisine won’t be disappointed either. Food trucks serving mouth-watering delights and a pop-up Margarita bar will be present on the day.
The Street Fiesta will now take place on Saturday, July 26 at the CSi Club Southport. The festival will get started at 1 pm and runs until 5 pm and the club is situated at 154A Scarborough Street in Southport.
