Southport nightspot to present alt-rock
An alternative rock band from Brisbane will soon perform at a popular concert venue in Southport as part of a special anniversary tour.
To celebrate their debut album’s 21st anniversary, Aussie rockers The Butterfly Effect are taking to the road for a substantial regional tour. The musical odyssey includes a February gig in Southport’s hit venue SOPO and will feature the entire track list of “Begins Here”.
Locations that hold concerts like clubs, bars and theatres often use capable flyer printing services to produce high-quality hand-to-hand adverts they can pass out to members of the public.
First founded in 1999, The Butterfly Effect burst onto the Australian music scene with their self-titled EP. Following the release they recorded “Begins Here” in 2003 and then two more LPs “Imago” (2006) and Final Conversation of Kings (2008) before breaking up in 2016. They reunited in 2017 and undertook a headline tour a year later. 2022, found the band back in the recording studio which produce their greatly anticipated fourth album, simply titled” IV”.
The current line-up features band members Clint Boge, Kurt Goedhart, Ben Hall and Glenn Esmond.
The Butterfly Effect will now be live in concert at SOPO on Saturday, February 8. The venue is based at 26 Scarborough Street in Southport and the show has a start time of 7.30 pm.
