An evening dedicated to American whiskey is coming soon to a Southport bar.
Mr PP’s Deli and Rooftop bar in Southport has confirmed it will host a special tasting session featuring the Westward Whiskey brand this April. The Oregon whiskey maker is well-known for select spirits labelled with a Logo Design showing a letter “W” pierced by an arrow.
Guests attending can nestle into the venue’s downstairs watering hole “Percy’s Bar” for an evening of whiskey sipping, with drinks perfectly paired with gourmet bites. The guided tasting will take aficionados on a tour of some of Westward Whiskey’s celebrated tipples. These will include Westward Original, Westward Pinot Noir Cask, Westward Stout Cask, Westward Rum Cask, and the formidable Westward Cask Strength.
The premium labels will be poured alongside carefully selected pizza slices and canapés designed by Mr PP’s talented chef to enhance and honour the finest flavours of the US state of Oregon.
The “Westward Whiskey Tasting Night - A Taste of Oregon” will take place on Thursday, April 3 in Percy’s Bar. The event is only suitable for those aged 18 or over and the bar is based inside Mr PP’s Deli and Rooftop at 43 Nerang Street in Southport.
The tasting session has a start time of 6.30 pm and ends at 9.30 pm with tickets to participate priced at $65 per person.
