Sounds of the 70s coming to Southport
A Southport venue is set to pay tribute to the music of the 1970s with a special club night this winter.
SOPO in Southport has announced it will be hosting an evening event this July entitled “Living in the 70s”. Back due to popular demand the Friday night event will be returning with a vast collection of pop, rock, and groove classics from the decade in music history that gave us glam and disco. From social clubs to night clubs, event venues hosting occasions related to specific eras often employ professional flyer printing services to create themed leaflets that encourage people to attend.
The Southport event will feature an accomplished band with a massive repertoire of 1970s music. While onstage, they will perform more than three hours’ worth of smash hot classic for music fans from iconic artists from days gone by.
As a result, those coming down to the event can expect to hear track from Fleetwood Mac, Skyhooks, The Doors, T Rex, AC/DC, ABBA, CCR, Billy Joel, Ted Mulry, The Doobie Brothers, Queen, Status Quo, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Cars, Sweet and many more.
Living in the 70s will take place at SOPO on Friday, July 21. The venue is situated at 36 Scarborough Street in Southport and the night will kick off at 7.30 pm. This event is free for all to attend.
