As part of their tour entitled “Cooties”, Brisbane rockers Bugs are stopping by a well-known Southport music venue in April to play tracks from their new album of the same name. Set for release on March 25, the album features the new single ‘In the Middle (Of It)’. Solo performers and bands alike often enlist expert Graphic Design Services to set typography and artwork for their album covers and tour Posters.
Other tracks set to be played from the 10-track recording include the singles ‘Old Youth Feeling’, ‘Decisions, Commitments & Plans’ and ‘Diamond’. Once limited to the Brisbane music scene, Bugs have now gone national, bringing their unique blend of relatable, honest and heartfelt pop rock to audiences around the country.
The band recorded most of their new album during 2020, making the most of the downtime caused by government lockdowns. Many of the album tracks were produced at the home studio of Bugs drummer Brock Weston, who also mixed and engineered Cooties. According to Oztix, lead singer Connor Brooker commented:
“He engineered the release from scratch, Jordan and I put down some parts at our own houses that ended up staying in a few final mixes.”
Bugs will now play at Vinnies Dive Bar, 44A Nerang Street in Southport on Thursday, April 28 at 7pm.
