Pop-punk band to play Southport
A popular music venue in Southport is set to welcome an American band born during the pandemic in the new year.
US pop-punk group No Pressure will be playing live at Southport haunt Vinnies Dive Bar in January. The Queensland gig in the new year is part of the band’s first ever tour of Australia, which will see them play at an extensive list of venues across the country.
Organisers and promoters of both national and international tours will often consult expert printing services to help them access a wide range of promotional materials from posters and banners to signage and flyers.
No Pressure is made up of members of three different bands – Light Years, Regulate and The Story So Far. What started as a side project for The Story So Far frontman Parker Cannon evolved into a fully-fledged band and resulted in a 2020 EP release. This was followed by singles "Can't Forget" and "Bed of Nails" in 2021. This year, the group cemented its post-pandemic success with a self-titled debut studio album.
No Pressure will now play live at Vinnies Dive Bar in Southport, which can be found at 44A Nerang Street. The gig will be held on Friday, January 20 and the show starts at 7:00 pm. The band will be supported on their Australian tour by New York’s Regulate and Melbourne hardcore group AWOL.
