Pop Idol star to play in Southport
A Southport venue will welcome a celebrated Australian act to its stage in the new year.
Well-known for her unique blend of pop and country music, songstress Hayley Jensen will be dropping by Southport on her continuing national tour in the new year. Organisers and promoters of tours both at home and abroad often use poster printing services to create eye catching adverts for upcoming concert dates.
The tour, which started this year, is the star’s biggest to date, and it has been designed to celebrate the release of Jensen’s highly anticipated new album. The fourth recording she has made in the studio so far, it is entitled ‘Breakin’ Hearts’. Fans of Jensen have already enjoyed some of the material on the album through several hit singles released, including ‘Just Gonna Party’ and ‘Fireworks’, along with the titular track ‘Breakin’ Hearts’, which became Country Radio’s number one song from Australia.
For more than 10 years, Jensen has impressed audiences across the globe, after becoming a household name when she was a finalist on Pop Idol. She was later voice coached by music icon Kylie Minogue, who described her as “the whole package”, and Jensen has since won numerous awards for her recordings.
On Thursday, February 3, between 7 pm and 10 pm, Hayley Jensen will perform live at Vinnies Dive Bar, at 44A Nerang Street in Southport.
