A members-only golf club in Southport is opening its course up to players from the public at a special event this spring.
Golf fans in Southport will soon get a chance to play a round at the suburb’s exclusive golf club. The springtime event held by the Southport Golf Course is called the “Southport Golfer Classic” and will give golfers a chance to earn prizes while playing and enjoy a lunch for just $129. There are limited spots available however, so the club is recommending that those wishing to participate book early.
Private golf clubs often order Letterheads featuring their emblems for branded Stationery to use in their communications with members.
Each ticket holder is entitled to one round of golf in a two-person Ambrose format. There will be more than $3500 to win in prizes. These will be awarded for various achievements including nearest to the pin, longest drives and other novelty prizes as well overall performance. Players can also enjoy a sit-down lunch at the club after the golf has ended.
The Southport Golfer Classic will take place at the Southport Golf Club, on Monday, September 22. There will be a shotgun start at 7.30 pm and the course can be found on Slatyer Avenue in Southport.
The golfing event is accessible to all players whether they possess an official Golfing Association Handicap or not.
