An extension of Cohort is planned to be launched in April.
This extension will include scientific laboratory facilities to assist science entrepreneurs to research new ideas ready for launching into the market place.
Cohort is situated in Southport and offers an innovative space to support entrepreneurs, technology and health start-ups, innovative thinkers, accelerator programs and events. The 330m² laboratory expansion comes ten months after the original opening.
The Cohort space offers many different facilities for entrepreneurs to move ahead with support and connections to enhance their projects. These include office spaces, board and meeting rooms, an events area, webinar studio, reception and kitchen services and private tenancies. The new science laboratories will provide the ability for a wider scope of innovative scientific ideas to be researched, tested and developed. Opportunities like this for entrepreneurs and innovators are publicised well through poster printing.
Through the extension, Cohort will continue to be intrinsic to the health and knowledge precinct of the Gold Coast. Accommodating these diverse facilities to expand research in the science and health industries, Cohort is inevitably providing a state-of-the-art hub in Southport.
Cohort is located at 16 Nexus Way in Southport and its office, science laboratory and innovative development spaces can be hired out under a membership package.
