The KRANK school holiday program, run by the Logan Council, will hold a first aid session at the Kingston East Community Centre in Slacks Creek.
In a two-hour session, teenagers will have the opportunity to learn basic first aid skills and CPR by a qualified paramedic. This basic training aimed at youth aged between 12 and 17 and will help them to know what to do when faced with an emergency situation or when someone injures themselves. It will help give them the confidence to respond in an appropriate way and with the right treatment. The paramedic will not only teach the attendees these important life-saving skills but be able to answer any questions they may have.
This session is part of the KRANK school holiday program run by the Logan Council. There is a variety of activities available for young people to attend throughout the school holidays. Other activities include kayaking, tennis, go carting and martial arts. Youth programmes like this can be promoted using brochure printing services.
For teenagers to attend this session, bookings are essential and can be made through the Kingston East Neighbourhood Group. The first aid session will be held on 15th April from 10am to 12pm at the Kingston East Community Centre, which is located at 177 Meakin Road in Slacks Creek. This is a free event.
The event was still to take place at the time of writing.
