Children in Slacks Creek are being invited to attend a workshop coming to the suburb in March.
The workshop is organised by the White Bear Foundation, which supports children and young adults to improve their self-confidence, self-esteem and resilience before starting secondary school.
Over the course of the weekend, children will enjoy educational games, fun and play. Activities will include self-esteem awareness activities, communication and leadership sessions, confidence-building games and lessons in resilience and life skills.
Held in a safe and supportive environment, the workshop will equip attendees with the tools needed to navigate the highs and lows of school and life afterwards. The workshop will encourage children to leave feeling happy, positive, and supported.

The Leadership Weekend Workshop will be held from Saturday 21 to Sunday 22 March. The location will be Logan Hockey Club, 157-175 Meakin Road, Slacks Creek.
