An event for young people to celebrate their cultural heritage with the local community will be held at a state school sited in Slacks Creek this spring.
Families in Slacks Creek can attend a cultural extravaganza running in the suburb this year. Entitled “Mabel Park State School Fiafia Night 2026”, the event involves younger students expressing their ancestry in a show that combines traditional performances, dance and music.

Mabel Park State School Fiafia Night 2026 will now take place on Thursday, September 10. The high school is based at 72/116 Paradise Road in Slacks Creek and general admission is priced at $5 per person with children who are five years old or younger offered free entry. The show will get underway from 5.30 pm and ends at 7 pm.
