Kids arts coming to Slacks Creek

Parents looking for holiday events for their kids in Slacks Creek are invited to attend an art workshop scheduled to be held in January.

Organised by the Salvation Army Communities for Children, the event offers an open-ended art space with the opportunity for kids and their families to create, discover, and have fun.

The art space includes interactive, hands-on stations with puppets, clay, painting, and many more activities to enjoy.

There are a range of activities on offer for all ages, including potato printing and fabric trees.

For the little ones, there will be a baby play area with sensory activities.

There will also be a quiet space offering chill exercises and origami making.

Children are asked to wear comfortable clothing and to bring their own snacks and water. All children must be accompanied by their parent or caregiver for the duration of the event.

Organisers of holiday events can use flyer printing to get the word out. An informative and engaging flyer provides important event details and sparks interest among the local community.

The Art Cave will be held on Wednesday, 14 January 2026. The event will take place at Unity Hub, 123 Paradise Road, Slacks Creek, QLD 4127. Activities begin at 9:30 AM and conclude at 4:00 PM. Attendance is free. Bookings can be made through the Humanitix website.
