Bellevue residents thinking of heading to the Riverside Ramble in nearby Viveash next month will find a host of new activities to keep them busy.
The annual event, organised by the City of Swan and the Stratton Lions Club, gives locals the chance to wander through the Reg Bond Reserve, exploring the trails and enjoying a range of family activities and stalls.
This year, visitors will be able to enjoy carnival rides, live music, circus performances, and even camel rides and a medieval fair
One of the new attractions this year will be a State Emergency Services challenge, which will see units from across the region compete in a number of activities related to emergency services.
Another new initiative is the pop-up library run by staff from Midland library and featuring local authors talking about their work.
The event is a good opportunity for local groups to highlight their work by having a stall at the ramble, and brochure printers could help by creating small leaflets explaining what a group does and how people can get involved.
Sports clubs can also publicise themselves by booking a site in the Discover Sports zone. Sites are free, as long as the club runs an activity for people to attempt.
The Riverside Ramble takes place on Sunday, October 12th from 10am to 3pm. Entry is free and parking is available nearby.
