A multi-date festival is running in Fortitude Valley this year with bands and solo artists playing at a variety of local venues.
Fortitude Valley music fans can immerse themselves in four days of new music this spring. The BIGSOUND festival is returning to the suburb’s iconic live music precinct and promises more than 100 Australian and New Zealand artists performing on stages in the city.
Musicians announced include Flume, Tones And I, Tash Sultana, Courtney Barnett, King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, and Baker Boy.

BIGSOUND will be held in Fortitude Valley from Tuesday, September 1 to Friday, September 4. Venues taking part include The Fortitude Music Hall, Black Bear Lodge and Ric’s bar and Backyard on Brunswick Street, Prohibition and La La Land on Wickham Street, the Brightside on Warner Street and Summa House on McLachlan Street.
