Fortitude Valley to teach mosaic art

An art class that shows attendees how to make decorative lamps using mosaics is coming to a popular arts hub in Fortitude Valley this autumn.

Creatives living in and around Fortitude Valley can participate in this artistic experience, which is called the “Turkish Lamp Workshop”. Presented by Art Masterclass, the practical session is part of a series called “Brisbane Mosaic Art Classes” taking place in the suburb this year.

Two and a half hours long, the unique crafting experience lets participants make a lamp of their own to take home featuring a mosaic design. The event features expert instruction from start to finish, making it ideal for individuals of all levels of creative ability.

Priced between $79 and $179, all materials needed for the workshop are included, like mosaic art tiles, a lamp base, glass beads and an apron to work in.

Institutions and centres operating artistic learning opportunities like classes, courses and workshops sometimes collaborate with brochure printing services to create Booklets that offer key details like costs involved and materials required.

The upcoming event offers a friendly and casual environment that priorities relaxation and fun. It also includes step-by-step guidance to reduce stress and ensure a satisfying result.

The Turkish Lamp Workshop will now be taught at Art Masterclass Tuesday to Sunday throughout April. The venue is sited at 826 Ann Street in Fortitude Valley.
