Residents of Fortitude Valley with babies and toddlers are invited to attend the Brisbane City Council’s Music and Movement programme, with the first session scheduled for early November.
The program will give residents the opportunity to get outside with their children, getting active and making music together. Musical movement and play will give children an opportunity to learn new skills, and parents will have the opportunity to meet new people while helping their children learn about rhythm and motion.
Local business Music Beat will deliver the programme and encourage children to have fun and take joy in the music they create. Music Beat provide a variety of programs for toddlers and babies centred on music, including Boppin’ Babies, and they are delivered by music educators and Registered Music Therapists.
These programmes help to develop a love of music and help shape confident and happy children, as well as helping adults to use or introduce music at home. Councils will often use printing services such as flyer printing to advertise events like this, ensuring their target audience is reached by placing Flyers in public areas.
The group will meet near the bandstand at the Brisbane Botanic Gardens in Mount Coot-tha. No bookings are required, and no equipment is necessary other than a rug for the ground. The first event will take place on Thursday, November 5 from 9.30am until 10am. For more information, see the Brisbane City Council website.
