Riverstone community hub to host festive gathering

A special seasonal party is being held at a social club in Riverstone this summer designed especially for older members of the community.

Riverstone will welcome a summertime event called the “Seniors Christmas Party” later this year as part of a series of seasonal celebrations. Held ahead of the big day, the occasion will give older people in the suburb a chance to connect with others in their age group while enjoying fine food, entertainment and activities.

Community clubs holding events to honour the festive season sometimes count on specialist flyer printing services that can create colourful ads that entice members of the public to purchase tickets.

Those coming down to enjoy the festivities can celebrate with their peers and enjoy a seasonal soundtrack performed by a live act. For dining, there will be a sumptuous buffet lunch to sample produced by the venue’s popular bistro and during the event there will be a chance for revellers to win prizes to take home.

The Seniors Christmas Party will now run at the Riverstone Schofield’s Memorial Club on Wednesday, December 10. The party will get underway from 11 am and admission is only $20 per person. The club is situated at 23 Market Street, parallel to Garfield Road and next to the Riverstone Swimming Pools in easy reach of the train station.
