A band based in the New South Wales capital is coming to play a social club in Riverstone with a set full of rock and pop songs.
Music lovers in the suburb can see Countdown Band play a live show later this month. Named after one of Australia’s most popular music TV shows from the ‘70s and ‘80s, the band specialises in high-energy renditions of classic Australian rock and pop numbers.
The band is owned by Matt Walther, an industry leader in event management. With more than 25 years’ worth of experience, he has served thousands of venues, bands and clients.
Music industry professionals often call on respected business card printing services for attractive calling cards that catch the attention of potential new contacts.
Designed to provide a nostalgic night for all attending, the concert features songs sourced from episodes of much-loved music programmes MTV and Countdown. Highlighting the golden age of Australian recording artists, the event promises mix Tape favourites to sing and dance along to. On the night, special guests Kathy Karavasilis and Kate Turner will be joining the band on vocals.
Countdown Band will now perform live on stage at the Riverstone Schofields Memorial Club on Saturday, May 30. The concert will kick off at 9 pm and the club can be found on Market Street in Riverstone.
