Comedy double bill to entertain Riverstone

A social club situated in Riverstone is presenting a show designed for an adult audience featuring two professional Australian comedians.

Residents looking for a night of laughter can book tickets for an event coming to the suburb in spring. Dubbed The Big Laugh Comedy Show, the evening will feature Darren Carr and Brett Nichols.

Clubs holding comedy nights often count on expert flyer printing services for easy-to-post adverts that publicise shows.

An award-winning stand-up comic and writer, Nichols is known for his edgy, clever and ad-libbed act. In 2003, he won the Green Faces comedy competition and has had numerous appearances on TV shows like Stand Up Australia and The Footy Show.

Carr is respected widely as the number one comedic ventriloquist in Australia and combines stand-up with music and a colourful cast of puppet characters. Professionally performing for more than 20 years, he was a finalist on Australia's Got Talent and has won many entertainment awards.

The Big Laugh Comedy Show will be at the Riverstone Schofields Memorial Club on Saturday, October 31. Doors to the event will open at 6 pm with dinner served at 6.30 pm. Brett Nichols will be on stage at 8 pm and Darren Carr at 8.50 pm. The club is based at 23 Market Street in Riverstone and tickets for the night are $30 per person.
