An event that lets parents swap their children’s clothes and belongings is running near Riverstone this year.
Families in the area looking to refresh their child’s collection of clothing, Books and toys can take part in the event happening nearby in The Ponds. Titled the Swap Your Style Party – Children’s Edition, the occasion invites parents to bring quality items and exchange them for others in the same condition.
The event is only open to those living within the suburbs covered by Blacktown City Council, allowing residents of Riverstone to attend. Local councils sometimes collaborate with professional Print shops to create informational notices that let the public know of initiatives running in the regions they govern.
The party uses a token system. Parents can drop off up to six pieces of clothing and six toys or books and receive a token for each. They can then use these tokens to select from the garments and other items submitted by others.
The council has partnered with Boomerang Bags Riverstone for the event, and its volunteers will be passing out recycled fabric bags for attendees to take their items home in.
The Swap Your Style Party will now take place at The Ponds Community Hub on Saturday, November 14. The event will get underway from 12 pm and end at 2 pm, with the hub sited at 45 Riverbank Drive in The Ponds.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Bags Get a Free Quote for Books
