Community event to return to Riverstone

Riverstone will once again host a yearly event that celebrates local communities, schools and businesses with live performances, street food, special activities and more.

Residents can join fellow members of their community at a local celebration taking place in the city this autumn. Blacktown City Council has joined forces with the Combined Churches of Riverstone to host the 2026 edition of the annual Riverstone Festival.

Organisers of local events held outside sometimes count on professional banner printing services that can produce hard-wearing signage to welcome attendees that hold up well in outdoor conditions.

Revellers arriving at the event will be met with a wide range of festivities. The roster for 2026 includes live stage performances from music talent from in and around Riverstone and market stalls selling unique goods. For families, activities have been organised for younger festivalgoers, and there will be a selection of local food trucks serving up both hot and cold food and drinks.

An important community event, previous editions of the festival have been attended by thousands of people and featured vibrant street parades and participation from local schools and businesses.

The 2026 Riverstone Festival is running on at The Sam Lane Complex on Saturday, May 9. The festival begins at 9 am and ends at 3 pm, with the venue located at the corner of Park Street and Pitt Street in Riverstone.
