What used to be a Target franchise location in Greenfield has been sold off, and reports indicate that the site will now be used as a Festival Foods supermarket.
This will be Festival Foods’ second location in Milwaukee. Information about such an agreement could be circulated on documents that include official Letterheads.
The building is located at 4777 S. 27th St and it has 152-square-feet of floor space. According to real estate records posted by the state, MBK Greenfield bought the property from Target Corp, which is based in Minneapolis, for $4m. Festival Foods’ support office and MBK Greenfield have the same Onalaska address, which is why it is believed that Festival Foods will be taking over the site. This idea is backed by the fact that Brian Bauman, who is the general counsel for Festival Foods, also serves as the agent listed for MBK Greenfield.
Festival Foods has yet to make an official announcement about the purchase. Executives from the supermarket chain which runs 33 supermarkets all over Wisconsin could not be reached to answer questions about the building in Greenfield. Festival Foods started operating in Milwaukee back in November when the company bought a 67-square-foot space in Hales Corner.
Festival Foods is run by the Skogen family. The supermarket opened its first location in Onalaska back in 1990.
