This week, Marshalls will open its newest location at Layton Ave and 84th Street in Greenfield.
On grand opening day, the company will host giveaways, with the prizes revealed that morning. Marshalls President Tim Miner said that an ever-changing array of brand-name, on-trend, and high-quality merchandise will be available at the location.
Covering 21,000 square feet, the store will offer a new shopping destination for locals, and also plans to hire for both full-time and part-time positions. The new location will be part of the 84South development.
The 84South project saw a groundbreaking in October last year, and has been rapidly building since. The development should ultimately cover some 50 acres. Other retailers will include ULTA Beauty, Carter’s, and Five Below. When businesses hold their grand opening events, they often use Banners and custom signage to spread the word about the exciting event. The developments cost is estimated to be around $165m. Fiduciary Real Estate has stated it will also build apartment buildings on the property.
The grand opening celebration will be this Thursday, August 17, held from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Customers will be able to see the new location, and may also get a sense of the overall project development.
