Kids to get a breath of fresh air

At the end of the month, locals will be invited to bring their children out to enjoy a unique party at the Children’s Garden in Greenfield. This event features the unveiling of many new enhancements that will no doubt be fun for the children to enjoy.

The library might have used brochure printing, poster printing, and flyer printing to share information about the garden party with parents throughout the area.

The event kicks off with kids visiting the children’s garden to discover what new items have been added for their playing enjoyment. Later, all attendees will enjoy the opportunity to create their own pinecone feeder for the birds found in this area, as well as the chance to decorate a ceramic marker that can be placed in the Children’s Garden itself or taken home to be placed in their own garden.

This project is presented by the Youth Outreach Coordinator of the Boemer Botanical Gardens. For parents and children, there will be a selection of plants available for sale and all money raised will be used for maintaining the Children’s Garden.

Admission is free and everyone is invited to attend. The Garden Party will be happening on Saturday, May 31, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Greenfield Library Children’s Garden located on the north side of the library at 5310 W. Layton Avenue. More info can be found via the library’s website or by calling 414-321-9595.
