Greenfield professionals cool down at cookout

Next month, VDC MKE will present the VDC MKE Summer Cookout to bring together construction, engineering, and architecture professionals for a day filled with good vibes, ice-cold refreshments, and tasty bites.

VDC MKE refers to a Milwaukee-based networking association of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) professionals. VDC refers to the technological workflow that creates digital models of project sites and buildings. Construction professionals, architects, engineers, and contractors all utilize these models when visualizing and planning budgets, schedules, building plans, and other related construction plans. The VDC MKE offers networking opportunities and social events for these professionals to have fun while also learning from each other and making meaningful connections.

The cookout will be VDC MKE’s first annual gathering of the summer. It will feature food from local restaurants and food vendors, as well as a variety of refreshing drinks. There will also be games to participate in and entertainment to enjoy. Registration fees include all food, drinks, and raffle tickets for prizes to be won.

Organizers of events that offer raffles to attendees may call upon local businesses to donate Promotional Products as raffle prizes in exchange for a boost in advertising.

The summer cookout is scheduled for August 15 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. It will be held at Konkel Park, which is located at 5151 West Layton Avenue. Tickets are $20.
