Greenfield invited to join in annual run

A popular Greenfield area run is set to return for its seventh year, and its organizers have planned for it to be another fun event.

The Big Gay 5K run and walk will mark the opening of Pridefest Milwaukee, and it will be planned by the Milwaukee Gay Sports Network. It will be an evening activity, and those who would like to participate as part of a team or on their own will all be welcome.

Both early and general registration options are available. Check-in will begin on the day of the event starting at 5:00 pm. Schools, families, and businesses can form teams of four or more people, and a variety of sponsorship options have been made available for anyone who would like to show their support. Companies and organizations that choose to do so will receive a variety of benefits, based on their level of their support.

Those who register ahead of time will be guaranteed to receive a T-shirt that has been designed just for the occasion. Any left will be given out to same day registrants on a first come, first served basis. Promotional Products such as this can be sourced from an area printer.

This occasion, which has been billed as ‘Milwaukee’s most colorful run/walk’ will be held on June 7th in Veterans Park. More details are available through the planner’s Facebook page.
