This October, the City of Greenfield will host the Fall Family Fest and Trunk or Treat event for local families to enjoy fall festivities in a fun, safe environment.
The festival will be a combination of the usual fall festival and the new trunk or treat activity. The trunk or treat event was created to offer children and families a safe, welcoming way to trick or treat in the community. Children will be able to don costumes and walk through Konkel Park to receive candy and other treats from participating festival vendors.
The Fall Family Fest will feature fun games, autumn-themed arts and crafts, inflatables to play on, a haystack play area, petting zoo, balloon animals, and food and beverages. There will also be horse carriage rides, a pie-eating contest, youth and adult Halloween costume contests, and bingo games. There will be no dogs allowed at this event.

The fall festival and truck or treat will take place on Saturday, October 5 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Konkel Park, which it will be held, is located at 5151 West Layton Avenue. There is no fee for admission for the public.
