Greenfield event to take aim at cancer

The Greenfield boxing community will soon be putting down their gloves and raising a glass in support of cancer research, and the public is invited to join them for a special evening.

Cancer is a group of diseases that has touched the lives of just about everyone, whether they have battled it themselves or watched a friend or loved one do so. ‘Fight Club for a Cure’ was organized to offer people a way to make a difference, and the proceeds will be passed along to The American Cancer Society.

The ticket price for the function is $50, and this includes admission as well as two drink tickets, appetizers, and a chance to bid on items in the live and silent auctions. They will be invited to hit the dance floor, mingle, and just plain have fun, all while making a difference in the lives of people living with cancer.

In an effort to make sure the event has as big an impact as possible, the organizers are asking anyone who would like to help but cannot attend in person to consider making a donation. Print shops can work with the people planning an event like this to provide them with budget-friendly decor and other printed products.

This opportunity for the public to take a swing at cancer has been planned for February 22. Milwaukee's Hilton Milwaukee City Center will be the location for the fundraiser, and the doors will open at 7:00 pm.
