Greenfield benefit to toast for local charities

The Greenfield Firefighters Benevolence and Charities will host its 9th Annual Toasting for Charity next month to raise money for its various charities.

Connected to the Greenfield Firefighters organization, the Greenfield Firefighters Benevolence and Charities provides emergency services during times of need. It also supports the community through outreach programs, educational activities, and fundraising events for local charities and other non-profit organizations.

The fundraising event will benefit multiple causes, including Honor Flight, which serves the nation’s veterans; Operation Warm, which helps children in need; non-profits helping families of first responders; and local youth athletic organizations. It will feature over 50 different beers from area craft breweries for attendees to sample, as well as wine samplings from Black Sheep MKE, an upscale winery and tap bar serving elevated bar food. Attendees will also enjoy cuisine from local restaurants and food trucks. Entertainment will include raffles of gifts and Promotional Products from event sponsors, as well as other fun activities not yet announced.

The Toasting for Charity event will be held on Saturday, September 17, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. It will take place at the Greenfield Community Center, which is located on 7215 West Cold Spring Road. Tickets can be purchased in advance on the Eventbrite website, or those interested can choose to purchase them for $35 at the door.
