Greenfield area takes musical tour of brewery

Residents of the Greenfield area are getting ready to take a stroll in an authentic beer garden while listening to some of the best music in the Milwaukee region.

The Miller Valley Sounds of Summer is a celebration of everything the sunny season has to offer.

The Miller Brewery is hosting the event, which starts with a tour of the brewing facilities and the large beer garden based on the site. Visitors will be able to see all the equipment and techniques used to brew the different ales, beers, and lagers they sell. Afterwards, participants can take a seat in the garden and sip a brew as the concert begins.

The concert will be performed by Keanan Koplin. Keanan is an Oahu native who currently lives in Milwaukee. He picked up guitar at 14 and studied music at MATC, and has worked with bands such as Fatboy Run, Rise Above, and Fulbright Scholar. Aside from his solo work, he can also be found touring Wisconsin alongside the band The Toys.

The Miller Valley Sounds of Summer will be held on June 24 from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm at the Miller Brewery, located at 4251 W. State St. in Milwaukee.
