In honor of Mother’s Day, The Groves Bakery will host the Mother's Day Sugar Cookie Decorating Class near Greenfield next month for moms and their families.
The Groves Bakery is a bakery specializing in baking small-batch specialty sugar cookies for special occasions, as well as hosting how-to classes and hands-on workshops revolving around all things sugar cookies. The decorating class in May will be a beginner sugar cookie decorating class suitable for bakers of all skill levels, especially those who have found sugar cookie decorating frustrating in the past.
The class will teach attendees how to decorate a set of sugar cookies with a Mother’s Day theme, and it will be open to everyone ages 10 and up, so mothers are welcome to bring the whole family along. Organizers will include all tools and supplies, with each participant receiving four icing colors, six cookies, and sprinkles.
How-to classes often involve instructional materials, such as Brochures and diagrams, to help facilitate the learning process. Local businesses specializing in brochure printing services may be useful to organizers of such classes.
The cookie class is slated for May 12 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. It will be held at the Muskego Circle Community Center, located at S63W13694 West Janesville Road in Muskego, which is only four miles from Greenfield. Tickets are $55 per person.
