Autism workshop to inform educators

Presented through a collaboration between Autism Society of SE WI and Franklin School District, the Autism Insights & Strategies for Educators Workshop will take place next month in Franklin, within easy reach for Greenfield educators.

The autism workshop will be open to educators and professionals of all school districts in the Autism Society of Southeastern WI service area and will be beneficial to anyone working with special needs students in a professional capacity. Professionals such as school administrators, special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers who support children on the autism spectrum are encouraged to attend.

There will be a presentation by Mary Graczyk-McMullen that will provide high-level introduction and overview of autism spectrum disorders. Ms. Graczyk-McMullen is an autism consultant for families and school districts. Her presentation will include case studies and solutions offering real world applications, and she will share her tried-and-true strategies for students to enjoy success in the classroom.

Educational workshops such as this often include informative Brochures to give out to attendees. The Brochures can be printed in bulk using area Print shops specializing in brochure printing services.

The autism and educators workshop is scheduled to take place on April 22 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. It will be held at Forest Park Middle School-Franklin School District, which is located at 8225 West Forest Hill Avenue, Franklin.
