The Hazelwood Historic House will hold a special holiday-themed exhibit next month. The Green Bay house will be decorated to show how Christmas has changed through the decades.
Different rooms in the house will be decorated to showcase how Christmas decorations have changed through time. Guests can expect a range of styles from Victorian to “chic modern.” Guides at the house will also go over the history of Christmas trees, which includes details on the origins of why they are used. These events are often supported with the help of brochure printing, so guests can expect more details while at the house.
The event will be timed, so each group of participants will have an hour to explore the house. All participants will also need to reserve a spot on any of the days the event is available. As per COVID-19 procedures, organizers ask unvaccinated guests to wear face masks while at the house.
The house will be open on December 11, 12, 17, and 18. Entry to the event is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $4 for children ages 5 to 17. Members can enter the event for free. Guests can find the house at 1008 South Monroe Street. There will be parking available at Aldo Leopold Elementary as long as the school is not in session at the time.
