Green Bay residents with a love for the arts and crafting will have an interactive learning opportunity to look forward to, as a local artisan is hosting a workshop this spring.
The Pendant Wire-Wrapping Class with Intention has opened online registration to interested parties who want to learn the techniques for turning gems and stones into wearable jewelry. The class will double as a mindfulness experience that helps students learn to how to work through projects with intention and purpose.
The class is open to participants of all skill and experience levels, with the workshop’s instructor serving as a guide. Students will learn and work in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere while learning the basic techniques of wire-wrapping.
The goal is to help each participant create a one-of-a-kind pendant while learning the skills to continue the practice at home. Printing services are valuable to organizers of such events, providing quality marketing tools and instructional documents.
All necessary tools are provided, along with high-quality wire. Participants can choose from silver, gold, bronze, and copper wire for their pendant. The organizer will also have an assortment of stones to choose from, if needed, costing between $10 and $25.
The workshop will be held at Runic Apothecary & 3rd Dimension Piercing in Green Bay. It starts at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 4. Tickets are $50 per student online.
