Residents of and visitors to Green Bay will want to mark their Calendars in preparation for an upcoming historical event that takes a closer look at the town’s history and notable people.
The If Tombstones Could Talk Walk will welcome registered guests this September for a unique way to learn about Green Bay and Brown County history, taking them on a guided walk of the Woodlawn Cemetery. The event, which is an excellent fit for individuals who enjoy learning about history and touring places with potential paranormal energy, is being put together by the Brown County Historical Society.
Guests will be led by a local historian with expertise on the lives of the interesting people who are interred at the cemetery. Promoters can use brochure printing to spread the word about events like this, with the pages providing space to share details of what to expect. The walk will double as an immersive experience held in a setting filled with natural beauty.
The program will be held in an outdoor setting, and attendees are encouraged to check and dress for the weather. A light lawn chair is also encouraged.
The Woodlawn Cemetery, located on Webster Avenue in Green Bay, will host the guided historical tour on the evening of Tuesday, September 8th, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Tickets cost $21.05 for general admission online.
