An Independence Day festival and celebration is in the works in Green Bay, providing area residents with a safe place to commemorate the anniversary of the nation’s founding.
Heritage Hill Historical Park is organizing a Fourth of July festival and preparing to welcome guests for a memorable day with friends and family. The gathering will help visitors take a deeper dive into the country’s past by exploring the park’s four historic districts.
The experience will take attendees to the 1830s Fort Howard, the turn-of-the-century agricultural area, the Growing Community of the Late 1800s, and the La Baye Fur Trade. The park will be filled with interpreters and history experts dressed in costumes that suit the respective eras. Flyer printing is a fun and creative way to promote such events around the community to encourage area residents to attend and support local businesses and organizations.
Guests are welcome to spend the afternoon at the park. Picnic lunches are encouraged, and visitors are welcome to set up on the picturesque park grounds. The venue will have a bar at the Tank Barn.
The festival will be held at Heritage Hill State Historical Park in Green Bay on Friday, July 4 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. General admission tickets can be purchased at the gate or online for $13 per adult and $11 per child.
