Wildlife to take pride of place at Virginia Beach festival

During an upcoming Virginia Beach event, local wildlife will take center stage as the spotlight is placed on the critters that call the city home.

The Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries will be hosting its 2017 Winter Wildlife festival. It will provide members of the public with an assortment of skills that they can use to observe birds, harbor seals, and other animals in their surroundings. An exhibit hall will be set up in the Princess Anne Recreation Center that will the house displays and workshops that will be held, and various vendors will also be on hand with wildlife related products and services.

As part of the celebrations, there will also be activities that have been planned with children in mind. These will be held at the Princess Anne Library. When it’s time for lunch, Ferd’s Missing Ingredient food truck will be on hand with food available for purchase. Digital copying can be put to use in making Copies of the different handouts and promotional materials that will be used during this type of function.

The Winter Wildlife Festival will run from January 20th to the 22nd at the Princess Anne Recreation Center. An assortment of information sessions and excursions will be held as part of the festivities, and the dates, times, prices and an opportunity to register to take part in any or all of them is available on the event’s website.
