Virginia Beach venue plans terrarium crafting class

Terrariums have been popular since Victorian times, and a Virginia Beach make-and-take class will teach how to prepare one from scratch.

Attendees in the Succulent and Sangria workshop will be preparing their own terrarium using the materials provided. They will be working with cacti and succulents, both of which have adapted to thrive in dry conditions.

The facilitator will walk the ticketholders through the steps of assembling their garden, and they will also offer care tips. Both 6” and 8” bubble balls containers will be available, and everyone can choose their plants from the ones supplied. There will be sand, pebbles, and other accessories so everyone can add a personal touch to their planting. Guests may choose to purchase a drink to sip on while they work. A special discount will be available for the learners on any plants they purchase after the session has drawn to a close.

Craft activities taking place over a drink have grown in popularity, offering a fun opportunity to learn something new. A brochure printing company can supply registration Forms, sheets of care tips, and other printed materials.

PlantHouse, located at 1564 Lasking Road in Virginia Beach, will offer this class on Saturday, June 6. The venue and several of the crafting tables are accessible to those who require a mobility device.
