Jane Godshalk, AIFD, will be sharing some of the tricks of the trade during a workshop that will soon be held in Virginia Beach, and it will offer both a lecture and hands-on learning. Many people enjoy flower arranging and find it to be a relaxing hobby that brings a touch of beauty to their home.
Ms. Godshalk has facilitated workshops and demonstrations both at home and across Europe and has been recognized by the Garden Club of America and the American Horticultural Society. She will share her unique sense of style and offering inspiration with her students so they can create their very own beautiful bouquets.
The class will open with a lecture, and after this, Ms. Godshalk will demonstrate some of the techniques she uses. This will be followed by lunch and in the afternoon, the students will have a chance to put their new skills into practice. Those who arrive early will even be able to do some browsing and buying from the vendors who will be participating.
An event like this can both help those who already have some experience in floral design hone their skills while also offering “newbies” and introduction to the hobby. Having instructional Booklets that have been prepared beforehand by a printing services company on hand for the students to take away with them can help them to keep learning even once they have gone home.
The Princess Anne Country Club is set to offer this workshop on March 12th. The tickets for the occasion can be purchased online.
