Sharks have been around since before the time of the dinosaurs, and a Virginia Beach event will give these often misunderstood creatures pride of place.
The Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center has planned its 2024 Shark Week celebration. During its scheduled runtime, enhanced offerings will be available. There will be bonus guest experiences as well as games and exhibits, and special presentations are in the works as well.
To add even more fun to the weeklong celebration, the aquarium will be providing a special tour, and tickets for this are $25 for members and $30 for non-members. These will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the venue’s Norfolk Canyon exhibit, and will explore this deep sea trench, which is located close to 60 miles off the coastline.
