New Line Hardscapes and The Virginia Horticultural Foundation are teaming up to present The Virginia Flower and Garden Exposition in Virginia Beach.
The Expo has been a Virginia Staple for over three decades. The mission of the event is to encourage both amateurs and experienced plant enthusiasts to learn more about horticulture. Guests can gain new ideas for their yard at the expo.
Throughout the day, there will be demonstrations, speakers, and an array of exhibits to see, detailing outdoor projects for every level. The Tidewater District will host the National Garden Clubs, Inc flower show "Planting A Party."
Returning this year are three craft workshops where guests can take home what they create. One class will create hypertufa planters, one will create a small succulent garden, and one will create centerpieces for outdoor parties. Guests must register for each workshop at an additional cost.
Tickets are $10, or free for children under 13. Admission is $6 per person with groups of 10 or more. Admission is valid for the entire weekend. There is a coupon for $2 off tickets on the Expo website. Coastal Virginia Winefest attendees can get $5 off their tickets to the Expo.
The expo will take place January 24 and 25, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and January 26 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The address of the Virginia Beach Convention Center is 1000 19th Street.
Convention centers use poster printing to attract visitors to upcoming gatherings like this.
